English-Taught B.Eng. Industrial Engineering with Work-Integrated Option

© HSBI Bielefeld

Are you fascinated by “technology made in Germany“? Would you like to study and put your newly acquired knowledge to practice by working in a company?

If your answer to both questions is “yes”, the B.Eng. Industrial Engineering (work-integrated) might be just right for you! Learn more at our online information events on 18 April, 8 May and 20 June!

The study programme addresses students of all nationalities providing them with the best conditions for their professional future: The combination of business-related and technical courses qualifies graduates for interdisciplinary activities in a company, as they are able to evaluate, organise and optimise processes economically and technically.

Students enrolled in the work-integrated study programme Industrial Engineering are employed by a company at the same time, which is the peculiarity of the work-integrated programme. What’s more, students even receive financial remuneration for their employment in the company.

Each semester consists of an academic term and a work term. The academic term comprises lectures, seminars and laboratory courses at the university. The subsequent work term takes place in the respective company for which the student is working. The relevant work experience integrated into the programme is beneficial for both the student and the company and can provide a solid foundation for a possible permanent position in the company after having obtained the bachelor’s degree.

Please find further information on the B.Eng. Industrial Engineering (work-integrated) and the admission requirements on our website. You can also complete the degree programme without a work placement in a company. For information on the B.Eng. Industrial Engineering, please check this website.
