“Forster Summer School 2024 explores – sustainable future. Concepts, conditions, chances. In 2015, 193 nations agreed on a groundbreaking agenda at the UN General Assembly – the 2030 Agenda. Its official title is “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were set to enable a decent life worldwide and at the same time preserve the natural foundations of life in the long term. Only 6 years left to achieve these goals. What must, what can each individual do today and in the future to live sustainably? What anchoring is required at a structural level – socially, economically and politically – in order to counter the limited availability of natural resources such as water, energy and food? Let’s talk about global change this summer.

You will discover Mainz and its surroundings, develop your language and cultural skills. The whole program will be held in English. Applications should be submitted until 14 April, 2024 using the website. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Mainz!
